Thanks for accepting me into the group! I have really struggled with my mental health recently and I have found running and exercise to be a great outlet for that stress. Whilst a Parkrun regular I have really had the running bug since the start of the first lockdown as a way of coping with everything going on! I have met some amazing friends through running, especially other mums at my daughters school. After one too many glasses of wine (after the lockdown announcement…..) I may have made a bet on our mummy runners whatsapp group that if I didn’t run a sub 30 minute 5k this afternoon, then I have to post a knickers moonie on this group if I fail
I hope this is ok and doesn’t cause any offense!
