As those who were my friends from the old (soon forgotten) Bug already know I am training as hard as I can for a ‘comeback’ marathon in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Chichester, West Sussex. I started fundraising for them in 2010  with a double marathon. I have raised a fair chunk of change since then, until ill-health prevented me continuing for a couple of years. I have also been a volunteer at the hospice for over 7 years, working to help both patients and the bereaved psychologically for 6 years. I am now the Volunteer recruitment Co-Ordinator. I would be very grateful for any donations as this is such a worthy cause which is very close to my heart.

Good Luck Ruth. You deserve to do well at Brighton and enjoy it too. A worthy cause, and lovely that not only do you raise money for them but also volunteer there.

Aw Ruth what a brilliant charity you are raising money for – as an ex nurse I know what a wonderful place a hospice is. Lovely you can raise money for something so close to your heart doing something you enjoy. I would have donated sooner only I’ve only just read the forum stuff lol!!
