    Dinosaur collecting his finishing token at parkrun this morning. I’m still buzzing from having overtaken him near the end – but tbf he did point out that there’s an awful lot of wind resistance when you’re that bulky!

    If he was a T Rex he’s likely to be about 70 million years old.  With that kind of veteran runner status you would probably have to assume an average of about a minute’s decline in performance per year.  Which would give him an expected finish time for a parkrun of about 133 years.  So his actual finish time, of about 27 minutes, was particularly impressive!
