Great topic Ian.  The only event I have entered this year is Beat Boxhill 5k on 29th September.  I’ve got to be sensible just for a little while longer……!  I do have a HM and Mara booked in for next year though 🤣

Useful reference point Ian as it’s sometimes easy to forget who’s signed up to what.  You’ve certainly got a busy programme. I’m departing from my usual autumnal fare of 10ks + a HM.  Focus this time is on mara debut.  So it’s

Draycote Water 20 miler 8 Sept; then

Loch Rannoch marathon on 13 October.

Wow Ian that is some list of events! No autumn marathon planned for me but a few halves leading up to the Mourne skyline:

August 3rd – Dervock Half Marathon (Dark Hedges)

August 17th – Dambusters Half Marathon

September 22nd – Belfast Half Marathon

    October 20th – Mourne skyline

    Some great lists there.

    Mine currently looks like this

    Race Across Scotland 17th August

    Ambleside 60k September

    Strathclyde Marathon November

Probably Tour de Helvellyn (again) December

    Tyndrum 24 hour January

Tunnel Ultra (how could I not?) March

Then I plan to spend the summer tri-ing again before finding some winter adventures.

Some great events being put up on this thread, for me its:

    Newark HM – 11th Aug

The Belper Rover 30k (hard & hilly)  – 18th Aug

T’owd Man HM (hard & hilly)  – Sept

    Tissington Trail HM – Sept

Sheffield Ten Ten Ten (10k) – October

Saxon Shore event (my ultra attempt) Penistone – November

Clowne HM (one of my fav’s) – November

Newark Showground 6 hour challenge (marathon or ultra attempt) – December

I’ll probably try and sneak another race here and there, but will be concentrating on the ultra attempt in November & December

Round Rotherham is on my radar, but for 2020.
