Arrived back from Scotland late yesterday evening so it will have to be Medal Tuesday. Loch Rannonch bling – took almost as long to resize the picture for uploading as running the event itself – lol! Solid medal with the unsurprising design of the loch plus elegant shape of Schiehallion in the background. T shirt is pretty routine and is dual purpose for both full and half mara.

Thats a beautiful area to run, at least they didn’t take you up and over Schiehallion it’s a bit of a slog!

Well done on your first Marathon it’s a great achievement.

Thanks Wozza. I climbed Schiehallion last year – I’m absolutely not a mountain goat when it comes to ballance and certainly wouldn’t fancy trying to run either up or down that rocky section near the top!

Nice to have the local views translated onto the medal – pride of place for that one as your first marathon – think that one definitely needs to be added to my wish list 🙂 well done again Richard 🙂

Good looking bling Richard, and beautiful scenery to match. A well deserved medal to add to your collection .

Reckon you should improve your mountain goat skills and run Schiehallion for fun! (No idea what it’s like, but it sounds precarious).
