Well Hi folks! It’s months since I last posted on here – you know how it is, life gets in the way for a few weeks and then you get out of the habit!
Something prodded me to come back and what do I find – my login doesn’t work anymore and I have to re-register!
I have to say though, this is looking much more like the bug of old. No longer filled with adverts, and it looks like we have friends again rather than followers 🙂
For those of you who know me I will be tracking you down 😉 but feel free to find me first!
Definitely a much more friendly and corporate-free place than what it had become. Maybe someone can fill me in over what happend.

HEY PC – Great to see you back and reborn!!
As for the bug, we all woke up one Friday morning to it being shut down, no warning, just closed it doors and left us all orphans but luckily I (well hubby) bought the domain runningbug.co.uk a couple of years ago (remember when they changed it for the worse – well we were going to boycott it then but didnt) and had this up and running by the Monday, now its far better and actually a proper community ran by runners 🙂 Still in early days and still have glitches to smooth over and need to sor the bug miles (pace etc) out but were get there.
Now get back on the wagon and get logging some runs!! 🙂

You’ve done a great job with it Vicky – it’s no small task to get something like this up and running! It’s here on in where it starts getting more trick though, as a lot of the features you will be trying to add will not be available ‘off the shelf’.
Anyway, I’m a software Engineer and if I can help at all, then feel free to ask.
There’s also the question of funding – I know it’s fairly cheap to get something up and running, but as time moves on and the amount of data increases that may change – so please don’t hesitate to charge a subscription if necessary. Only £5 a year from 100 members should cover quite a lot……
