ParticipantI’m thinking of getting a new watch I’ve had the garmin forerunner 10 for a while now it still works well but is limited. Been looking at forerunner 235 and the multi sport 735xt.
What do you use and any recommendations?

ParticipantI can recommend the Garmin Forerunner 620, I love mine. A big improvement on the other forerunners and a far better battery life than the 10.

ParticipantI’ve got a 235. Couldn’t justify spending any more, haven’t scratched the surface of what it can do. Wear it all the time

KeymasterThink it depends on what your uses will be, think if you’re looking at triathlon the 735 is the way to go as it’s a better swim watch, but for running if I wasn’t doing ultras or Tri’s I’d probably go for the 235 – there are some great deals about on those at the moment too.

ParticipantThanks it is giving me something to think about will be doing a sprint tri in August and if I don’t get the VLM place again then a standard tri next year depending how the standard tri goes may look at half Ironman but that is not cheap either
