RunningSpace Corona Challenge
RunningSpace – “running to beat suicide” is a charity based in East Sussex but having an impact beyond. We recently won the BBC Sporting Unsung Hero award for the South East, and the best way to find out what we do is to watch the 3 minute film as aired in December 2019. Here’s the youtube link:-

Things have changed a whole lot since then, but we have a plan to keep us all up and running (mentally and physically and spiritually)
The good news is that yet again, RunningSpace has a mandate from the top to keep doing what we’re doing. We may be in lockdown; we may not be able to go to the movies or pubs or restaurants; but we can Walk and Run. That’s AMAZINGLY good news. We can #keeponrunning, enjoying all its mental, physical and spiritual benefits all of which we need more than ever right now.
The rules are finally much more clear, Boris has said we can exercise once a day outside, on our own or with a household member. Luckily, our Coaching Coordinator Tracy and I did a socially distant run earlier today and came up with a plan to keep us all running together. We’ll send details of resources to support you, from apps to pen and paper so everyone can join in, but for today,
get ready.
On Monday 30th March we’ll start logging our collective distance, and together, let’s see how far we can Walk and Run together to beat suicide.
