This was a lovely run. My intent was to go our for a 20 miler and keep the pace down (trying to run further and slower).
Route was fab, a gradual uphill out of town to the local resorvoirs (Linacre), around them as the sun was coming through. That was fairly undulating on trails … needed a bit of care here and there. Then it was a return to…[Read more]

  • Well done Jason.
I agree re the 18. There’s no point in battling beyond that if your spent, you may well cause an injury or just a few mental blows that go against you on the day. A super 18 in the bag and looking good for your marathon.

  • Well done Jackie. Fingers crossed with the knee

  • A great run to get in Dorothy, well done.

  • Well done Dawn. In my experience running in those Santa outfits is harder than it looks. You earned your mulled wine.

    🙂

  • Well done Tara, looks like a great parkrun. Boo hiss re the car … as you say they are a right royal pain at times.

  • Looks like a great run Jo, and good tactics from you to take it as it comes. Those are the best runs sometimes.

      My Friday Billy run.
Very enjoyable and I know how lucky I am to be able to get these lunch time runs in at work.
Lurghy just about gone, so hopeful I will get a long one done tomorrow (seems a long time since I did a 20 miler).

Sorry I’ve struggled to find time to comment this week and am just catching up now.
This was a Thursday lunch time run with a mate from work. Lets keep it flat he said … its only one hill he said … Well not flat at all ha ha .. and the hill went on for half a mile.
Great run though, really enjoy getting out and having a social lunch time one.…[Read more]

  • Looks a great day for a lovely run.  Smashing pic, well done Dorothy

  • ha ha, great pic.

  • Well done Tara, thats a lovely looking HM. Best of luck this weekend

  • Nice work Simon

  • Well done Richard. That took some strength to carry on doing laps when you were very uncomfortable. Pleased to see you rewarded with a marathon PB. Top stuff.

  • Well done Jason, looking good for it. I often hang on to the mantra to train heavy and race light … so an extra layer is fine this time of year.

  • Well done Sonia, good luck for Sunday

Good grief Ruth, you are a true hero. That support you have shown over those years is nothing short of immense. I look forward to watching your progress.

  • Sounds great fun, well done Dawn
