Catching up , wow, awesome or what! These ultra runners must find an inner strength from somewhere to keep on going with next to nothing sleep.

Thanks Ian for updates, good reading all the posts here on the thread. Richard’s stats are good, and lol at Dee for noticing the christnas tree and Lizzy, Sharnie’s feet!! Have to say though, how good…[Read more]

  • Wow to that prog run! How come you didn’t fly off the dreadie?!
Good to finish off with a dip in the pool – great session Dave 🙂

  • Wish I could do 16 in that time Karl, really strong run even though you had a bit of a blip.
With you on NOT listening to Billy Ocean! Now I’ve got the darn tune in my head….
For Reykjavik last year, I listened to music from mile 16. It made it feel like it was a different race, sort of starting afresh halfway through 🙂

  • Good pacing Jo, especially feeling so tired. Well done on going out and doing it 🙂

  • So no soggy spin?! Good soggy one Barry 😀

  • Longer than the race!

  • Simply lovely dedication Dave, and wow to that pace! Congrats to you too 🙂

  • Such a good mile Sheila, congrats. Did very well with everything going on, hope Rebecca starts to improve x

  • Good inter sesh Dorothy, weather sounds much hotter there than here! Well done 🙂

  • Weather very unpredictable but makes a run more fun 🙂
Good fiver, and I think most non runners think runners are slightly odd!

  • Good parkie sarnie Nathalie, and it’s a very neat progression (what’s a second or two?!) Sounds like you could have done with a nibble to eat after parkrun. Well done 🙂

  • 🙂

  • Certainly got the speedy pants on again Dave, fab parkrun stats, well done.

  • Good looking relaxed run Dave & buddy.
    Hoping Rebecca is well soon

  • Loving your concert, have seen the Vaccines and they’re brilliant live. Would see them happily again 🙂
Anyway, superb running both of you, strong fast tenner there Barry and a good fiver for Anya too 🙂

  • Ooh, that does sound like a nice event Chris, may look it up, though it’s probably miles away from me. Actually think your time is strong for the course and elevation. Well done 🙂

  • Excellent still Dee, it’s all relative, I’m really impressed by your 6! Sounds a good one on a busy day 🙂

  • Hmm, I would say (with my limited expertise) that it can’t be right? Unless it was very hilly or hot? Could you switch the watch off, then turn it back on again, or does that not help???
However, forgetting the HR, that’s a good steady run, sounds like you were enjoying it too. Lovely 8 Lizzy 🙂

      ChM wk5/r3 – 6 x 800s with 200m walk recs inc.
This is Thursday’s run, done first thing this morning ahead of a busy day. (I’m actually logging this at 2.30am, in a little tent in my brother-in-law’s garden, trying to sleep with the dog and the sound of rain going pitter patter, not to mention, the family rabble.)

      Anyway, 800s. I don’t…[Read more]
