Interesting run there Lizzy. I nearly choked when I read about you going to the car park and you hadn’t left it there LOL! Great mixed miles, well done! πŸ™‚

Well done Vicky, those woods sound great. Don’t push things though if that ankle is still niggling at you – better safe than sorry.

Successful mission at least. LOL to being offered a seat though – at least they didn’t call an ambulance! πŸ˜‰ Well done Ian

Well done Sharon – make sure you look out for those tree roots that jump up at you – it’s always when you’re not paying them any attention! πŸ˜‰

Well done Dave, good to see you out. It’s difficult fitting in keeping up on here with life in general, so don’t worry about it.

Great sounding early miles Jo, there’s something quite nice about running in the mist.

      Plod to work.
I was expecting to get drowned on this one, as 10 minutes before I left it was coming down in buckets, but when I set off it was heavy drizzle, and stopped completely by half way. That was a bonus at least, and the cooler temperatures were certainly more favourable.
Ran at what felt a comfortable pace, but according to the HR was…[Read more]

    • Gosh, the back to school germs! Thank God mine are too old! Easy to forget these things, but I do remember trainer shopping at Sports Direct (groan…) but they are happy days πŸ™‚
Not so much a plod Paul, looks good in the drizzle, and HR bound to be a little up after being unwell?

    • Ah the school virus trail strikes, still managed to get out there and get a good run in PC

    • Always good to share it round the family Paul just what you needed! As plods go reckon that’s ok fella

    • Yes very positive would have been easy not to have bothered with a cold and the rain

    • oh same in our house, that cold doing its rounds. Well done still running in the wet stuff when not 100%

    • Direction of progess is good, Paul, even if temporary nuisance of a cold. Hope it doesn’t hang around too long.

    • Hope the run helped to get rid of the cold

    • Those pesky back to school colds! Good to hear you’re feeling stronger and hopefully the cold won’t be around for long πŸ™‚

    • Booo to the school lurgys 😕 youre not having much luck on the illness front PC. Hopefully you will see the back of it now and not a bad pace either 👍

    • Nice to read that you’re getting back your strength and endurance and with the weather getting cooler now, it should be better for running

Well done Richard, great result, and a good pace over all those miles. Hopefully you can get the ankle sorted.

Well done Dee – I don’t think I’d like to run on the paths in Southport when they’re wet, especially when the wind’s blowing!

Good way to kick off the new plan – apart from the tech issues that is! I think I’ve got one of those measuring wheels somewhere if it’s of any use? πŸ˜‰
    Well done.

Great miles MC, and good to hear the legs are behaving after all those miles last weekend. Well done.

Well done Lizzy, some great off road miles there. Good to hear the calf was OK.
It’s frustrating when you get bonkers HR readings, but they seem to affect us all from time to time.

    Great looking easy miles Richard.
Good luck in the race Sunday, Yarrow Valley Park is a couple of miles from me, I occasionally run round that way.

Well done Steve, really good to see you back on logging runs again, and to build up to this distance in only a couple of weeks is impressive going. Good to hear there were no problems with the knee, and as for that other runner – he’ll be on the other side of that comment at some point!

  • Paul C commented on the run 6 days, 10 hours ago

Certainly nothing wrong with those splits Ian after the weekends big miles. Well done.
