I can’t believe I had missed reading this for so long… What a write-up, what an adventure, how breathtaking photos!!!!

Sharnie, you really are an amazing runner, but (I think I’ve written it a million times) even the most epic of your runs may be obscured (if this is ever possible!) compared to your spirit! The way you think (and write) about the hardships (may they be arising during the race itself or be issues of a more permanent nature) and how you always manage to reconsider everything while sticking to your aims (or should I say aspirations…) is really …unbelievable, the greatness of the human spirit is always there in your write ups. And the race itself, your immense determination, the solidarity to your fellow runner, your optimism… What can I say. Still, the achievement (as usual) was so great and inspiring. Thank you… Regarding the asthma, I think you have been taking in the news about it in the best possible way, you will sort things out and will manage it optimally, as always. Knowledge is always better than ignorance and you will come up with a plan on how to deal with it. Just (please) be patient -as you’ve always been.

    Again, huge congrats!

What a wonderful wife you’ve got and what an amazing place this must be! I just googled the location and have been staring and intensely mouth-gaping for a minute now… So jealous of the opportunity to visit these places! 😉 Fantastic! 🙂

It was really an unbelievable accomplishment! What can I say….

The thing that really impressed me, though, was his humbleness and character. And the message that beginning from running we can try to make this world more beautiful and peaceful!

    Huge respect…

Sh*t!!!! WHAT HAVE I LOST HERE?!? Woooooooow, Ian! An amazing race and result! A fantastic, epic achievement (even though I can perfectly understand you about the little bitter taste overall, but there’s nothing better you could have done about the knee…), what a marvellous PB smash (what “smash”… you exterminated the old one really…) and what a write-up! Huge well done and a very big congrats to the supporting crew! Way to goooooooo #teamSpriggs! 🙂

Hey! It was about time!!!! Painfully delayed and hugely deserved award! Thank you for everything you ‘ve been both doing, for your modesty and passion and for all the immense support you’ve been giving, @sharnie1 and @ian_spriggs ! I literally have no idea how many less miles would have been run on this earth without your support (let alone those innumerable miles literally run by your feet kicking the ground… 😉 ) and that’s the least I can say… You are both an example to us all and a great inspiration (well… two great inspirations in a package of one! how sweet and convenient!). Thank you for everything you’ve been doing ON the bug and FOR the bug. Gratitude and respect to you both… 🙂

Fantastic effort and what a great write-up Emma, thank you so much for it! Huge well done both on the tri and on the strict post-mortem instructions (hey, I want my corpse to be thrown in the sea in the trench between two islands of the Aegean, but I’m not sure there is a legit way for anybody to do it…). You did amazing and here’s to the next (and the one after the next… and the one after that…) tri!
